Monthly Crontab?

Hi

I've recently started using wwwstat and I'm trying to setup a crontab script 
to run wwwstat monthly. Is there any way of setting wwwstat -d 'to the 
present month' i.e. if it's run on the last day in February can 'Feb' be 
inserted automatically by the program, possibly reading the current month 
from somewhere ('Mar' for the last day in March and so on). Apologies if 
I've asked a stupid question but any guidance would be much appreciated.
