I've found it more representative to measure accesses to web pages, rather
than all requests by restricting wwwstat to analyse file types of HTML (and
its variations - HTM, SHTML etc), ASP, CGI and maybe directories.

I also run a UNIX shell script (should really be rewritten as a C script)
that goes through the log and makes an assumption that if there's a ten
minute break between a user accessing one page, and the next, then they are
treated as separate sessions.
