You can check the HTTP return codes - I can't remember which value you're
looking for, but just like 404 is an error, there is one which indicates a
redirect.  Do a google search for http codes and you should find a site
listing them - it'll save you RTFM. :)

There are probably easier ways of doing this which other people will send
you, but this one will should work.
