True, Perl is a development evironment, and as such made of several CPAN
modules.
Formally you are correct, but Donna's question was posted here so I
assume she wanted to know if ALL the "common" modules including libwww
are also so.
Dates are handled, for instance, in cookie jars HTML headers etc.
As a matter of fact, an y2k bug was reported in HTTP::Date on this same
newsgroup.
I suggest Donna to search in dejanews for old messages regarding this
issue.
