Hi All,

I downloaded PERL 5.005_02 sources from the CPAN perl
archive site and I am trying to configure and install
	on my machine.

But I am facing the folowing problem:

***********************************************************************

Checking your choice of C compiler and flags for coherency...
I've tried to compile and run a simple program with:

cc -O -I/usr/local/include -o try -L/usr/local/lib try.c -lsocket -lnsl -ldbm -lmalloc -ldl -lld -lm -lc -lcrypt -lucb
./try

and I got the following output:

ld: fatal: library -ldbm: not found
ld: fatal: library -lld: not found
ld: fatal: library -lucb: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to try
I can't compile the test program.
(The supplied flags might be incorrect with this C compiler.)

You have a BIG problem. Shall I abort Configure [y]

***********************************************************************

My machine is Solaris 2.5.1 ( Sun Ultra -1 )

Please help me in resolving this problem as soon as possible

Regards
R.Suresh Kumar
