Side note:  Linux is only up to version 2.1 right now.  You are
probably reporting the version number of one of the Linux packagers,
like RedHat.

You can get the Perl modules through a CPAN site.  There are many
mirrors, but you can start at:

http://www.perl.com/CPAN
