Sitemappers,
I have just uploaded a new version of sitemapper to the perl CPAN site.
This version includes the option to generate a dynamic HTML folding tree
for the site map. This is based on Jef Pearlman's (mailto:jef@mit.edu)
javascript Tree class (see
http://developer.netscape.com/docs/examples/dynhtml/tree.html for more
details). The distribution contains js_example.html which is an example
of a dynamic HMTL version of the site map for the CRE site. This is
generated using :
./sitemapper -o js_example.html -site http://www.cre.canon.co.uk/
-format js
The javascript site map requires the following gif files to be copied to
the
same directory as the sitemap:
Tree_disabled.gif
Tree_minus.gif
Tree_plus.gif
Many thanks to Jef for allowing his cool DHTML code to be distributed
with sitemapper!
I also have set up a mail alias of all the people who requested the
sitemapper in the first place (sitemapper@cre.canon.co.uk). I plan to
use this for any major announcements. If you want to be removed from
this please mail me (wrigley@cre.canon.co.uk) - it is just a mail alias
at the moment, not a proper mail list, so there is no "unsubscribe"
support.
Ave.
