I've just converted a link checking program to use parallel user agents,
and was disappointed to find this error erupt:

Connection reset by peer at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/LWP/Parallel/Protocol/http.pm line 241.

This is using PUA 2.32, the latest I believe.

Since this error seems not that unusual (I see it on occasion while surfing), its not clear why the author decided to die at that point.  Seems like it should be caught and handled not unlike some other server error and returned in the response object.

My link checker can't get to the summary loop which dumps out the results so I'm dead in the water.

Any suggestions?  Any intent to revise this?  Am I missing something?
