	Hi,

	I wrote a C + perl library to handle URI. It works well for me
since about a year. I'm working to make it compatible with the URI:: module.
Since this module is apparently being changed, I'd like to discuss the
methods and improvements that must be included.
	The main difference between the library I wrote and the current
URI:: module is that all the code is written in C and character escaping 
is done on a per component basis (netloc is not escaped in the same way
than path or query).
	My current module is in the distribution pipe and should be 
available soon in the author tree (LDACHARY/url-1.0.tar.gz).
