I recall SOIF being developed as part of the Harvest cache, but I am
unsure of its current status. SOIF may be obsoleted by XML based
technology. Perhaps the following url may be of assistance (although
harvest is fairly old now, so some modernisation of this code to work
with current perls may be required):
