But it's to HTML::Stream-perl, not CGI.pm perl, if that matters.

Hmm... Sounds like an interesting article for my WebTechniques column.
Just a matter of whipping up something based on HTML::Parser and the
right "print" ops.  CGI.pm's helper routines can generate arbitrary
HTML if you coax them hard enough, so no biggie.
