I am used to working with perl, but not with http. I have a project that would
take a URL and search for all links with a specific extention and transfer
those files to my computer.  For instance;
web_get -type pdf -url http://www.ptf.com/index

web_get would search for all references for 
<A HREF=*\.pdf *> and transfer them. 

Could one of you kind people give me a hand. Thanks.
