No need to do any of the options listed below. I ran into the same
problems when installing LWP on NT/95, so all I did was to install libwww
on my unix box and copy over the *.al modules onto my NT/95 box. Most
everyone I've heard from has been able get LWP working w/Activeware's port
with these files. Admittedly, I haven't tested every aspect of LWP to work
with this method (damned research keeps sucking up all available time like
a black hole...), but most all of the basic functions work. The URL is:
ftp://cogen.mit.edu/software/perl/libwww-win32-fix.zip
but we are having a problem with this server that should be sometime
tomorrow. In the meantime, if you need these files right away, drop me a
line and I'll e-mail them to whoever needs them.
