I realize you are probably not looking for a commercial product, but there
is this company at http://www.elsop.com/ that sells a supposedly excellent
product called LinkScan. Their evaluation period is ridiculously short (15
days). Wasn't enough time for me to unpack the software. Only mentioning as
an FYI. Maybe their Web site provides enough of a product spec which
talented programmers in the community could use to implement a freeware
tool? I could only hope!
