I recently did a virtual tour for wwgrainger (shameless plug) and ran headfirst
(crunch) into that exact problem.  Everything worked great in netscape, but
MSIE3 choked, as did AOL, on the first version.  Caused a pretty frantic late
night rewriting things.  It seems like most browsers (Mozilla, IE, AOL) can use
the second version though.
