Webmirror - another Q

I also tried using Webmirror recently. I tried to capture a directory of my
images, with the directory just generated by the default Index page.
It worked fine... went though all the images in the directory, and captured
them all. However, they had data corruption. The first one came through fine,
and all the rest had bad JPEG info, the type where a line of the image would
become negative, or a strange color, or you would see the little checkerboard
patters that JPEG uses.
Almost without exception, all the mirrored images after the first were
corrupted. I checked them through netscape just to make extra sure... no
corruption, and a different file when saved directly to disk from Netscape.
Any ideas?
