Implementing SSL is 'non-trivial', but there is already a free
128-bit SSL library available (outside the US). This is something
I'm looking at as well, the ideal solution would be to have
an SSL perl module which could be used by libwww or anything
else, rather than having all the SSL stuff in libww. This should
be fairly straightforward. The problem then would be that it
wouldn't be available inside the US - a nice turnaround on the
current situation - so it probably couldn't go under CPAN.
If anyone else (outside the US) is interested in working on
this, let me know.
Cheers,
Adam.
