No, it don't get them .
But stop! I was completly wrong. It was not a problem with .htm suffix.
I have simply found a document where :
<LI>
<A HREF="/foo/bar/test1.html">test1</A>
<A HREF="http://any.where.com/foo/bar/test2.htm">test2</A>
<\LI>
lwp-rget download test1.html, but neither test2.htm nor test2.html.
but not because of .htm suffix, but because of the --prefix option !
Now, I do lwp-rget.pl -prefix="" http://...
and all is ok, I get test2.html
Excuse me for all this noise ... and for my bad enghish...
