Yes.  Netscape once again inventing non-SGML syntax.

Every time I refer to Netscape in my WebTechniques columns
(http://www.stonehegne.com/merlyn/WebTechniques/), I refer to "non-standard
browsers, such as Netscape".

I think you're beginning to see why.
