In my spare time I've been trying to get LWP to work on NT. I would
like to hear from others who either have it working or are attempting
to get it to work. Lets pool our resources and help each other out.
One of the problems in the past was that LWP depended on perl 5.002,
but only 5.001 was available for NT. Martin Cleaver contributed a
script that modified the LWP sources to remove the 5.002 dependencies
and correct some other NT limitations. Since 5.003 is now available for
NT it seemed a better route to go was to try using the LWP sources
unmodified (or at least without the 5.002 changes). But I have not
made much progress. At the moment my current roadblock is getting the
other modules required by LWP to work with 5.003 on NT, specfically
the libnet, IO, and Socket packages.
