I like the name, but I might have bad taste.  Does it mean anything
special around Kiruna?

I also added Kirves to the application list at 
http://www.sn.no/libwww-perl/.

Besides, it did not run as it should right out the box on my
SunOS4.1.4 machine.  It starts up and I can connect to it, but it
never sends back any reply.  I don't have time to investigate further
now.

I also get this warning when running it with perl5.003_07:

  "my" variable $proto masks earlier declaration in same scope at Kirves.pm line 136.

Should we really subscribe to the list address itself.  Shouldn't it
be <kirves-request@bildbasen.kiruna.se> or something?
