Problems with first-time CGI !

The Server returns this after I called my script :

500 Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.

Message: CGI output from C:/WebSite/cgi-shl/nethitgr.pl contained no blank
line separating header and data

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@unicall.be and inform
them of the time the error occured, plus anything you know of that may have
caused the error.

What could it be ?? This was normally returned by the script :

 printf"Location:
http://$SERVER_NAME:$SERVER_PORT/$PATH_TRANSLATED/_error.gif\n\n";

Help me please !
