I don't think Lincoln is on the libwww list, but he is aware of the
problems and is intending on fixing it in his next release.

I just released a new version of CGI::Response (available at CPAN or at
<URL:ftp://ftp.best.com/pub/hedlund/CGI-Response-0.02.tar.gz>), which also
depends on the LWP::* modules.  I believe I tracked down all of the
corrections that needed making for LWP b6 in this release.
