get

Dear Mr. Fielding, dear libwww-perl users

I've been trying to use "get" to download a URL, that I'm reading
through a CGI and FORMS input out of a web page.

The URL is being fetched successfully, but PERL reports the followin
error (which causes the CGI to terminate and Netscape reporting an
error):

>get -q http://caad.arch.ethz.ch/~wenz/images/floS.jpg

Scalar found where operator expected at (eval 11) line 3, near "*($p"
        (Missing operator before $p?)

One of the reasons could be, that I'm not sure if all the libraries are
strictly PERL 4, as we have upgraded to PERL 5 recently.

Can anybody help or suggest another script?
It is much appreciated!

florian
