Installation problem

I try to install libwww-perl version 5b6, but I got those errors when
executing 'perl MakeFile.PL':

Can't locate lib.pm in @INC at VERSION line 28.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at VERSION line 28.

'PL_FILES' is not a known MakeMaker parameter name.

'dist' is not a known MakeMaker parameter name.

I looked everywhere in the @INC path to find the 'lib.pm' file, but I
couldn't find it. Anyone have any idea of what might be the problem here?
