ANYTHING about WWW security in perl..

I had a little problem creating a security script for my deamon
In fact what i want is a robot script which can take the email
and nickname inserted from some surfer, generate him a password
put his nickname and password into my htgroup and htpasswd files
and send back to him his password.

I run a CERN deamon on Linux

Any kind of help will be appreciated
