Does anyone know of an existing utility that builds a local cache of a WEB
subtree (including referenced images) so that it can later be accessed 
locally over a LAN? 

The main user is intended to be ARPA's CAETI project which is supporting 
DoD overseas schools which are only weakly (and expensively) connected to 
the WEB. They would use this utility to download educational material they 
need overnight for classroom use the next day.

I told Roy Fielding that I was planning to extend MOMspider to perform
this task and he suggested I post this query here to see if such a utility
already exists.
